Nice looking figures. They are well painted and based. Who is the manufacturer?

They look great, and I like the knight sculpt.  Are you planning on having a somewhat unified color scheme?  If so, perhaps a Thaumaturge would look good in white and red.

Also, what did you use for your bases, and what size are they?

these two are the knight and marksman models from the nickstarter. I like the look of the sigilist, she would look good in white and red too....not 100% sure though. I used bolt action bases.....exact same as the plastic bases from the soldier box.

What did you do to hide the bases attached to the actual miniature?  Did you use green stuff or something else to even it out?  Or did simply gluing sand on the base suffice?

I roll out a sausage of sculpey (modelling clay) and press it around the base. Takes about 20 seconds and it hides the metal base easily.

Excellent paintjobs! The scheme works well; will you be doing a whole warband in uniform colours?

I've been pondering how to achieve that balance between a ragtag group of thrown together adventurers and a visually recognisable group of fighters on the table. Especially when you have two warband, equally ragtag. You wouldn't want to pin your own treasurehunter to a wall with your marksman's crossbow bolt, now would you?

Then again; it would certainly add a level of realism to the confusion and brutality of arctic, urban warfare... :D

these two are the knight and marksman models from the nickstarter.

And isn't that the Templar model instead? ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Really nice paintwork. The bases look spot on as well.  :)

I like the idea of having a overall colour scheme for the warband, and had spent a while considering it, but in the end decided to paint my soldiers as individuals so that they can serve any of the different wizards I have without looking out of place.
