New Frostgrave Scenario
« on: 24 July 2015, 02:55:52 PM »
Hey guys, mostly as a bit of fun, I have posted a new, completely unofficial Frostgrave scenario on my blog.

Seems interesting. Definitely a good way to... troll, a more advanced wizard ;)

Excellent stuff, thanks for creating this scenario, Joe. I've transferred it to a Word doc and saved it.

The higher level Wizard and his Warband will certainly have their hands full dealing with both another Warband and three angry Snow Trolls.

I think if I was calling for this Scenario, I'd crew my Warband with as many ranged soldiers as I could afford and focus on assassinating the Wizard and his Apprentice whilst they were distracted by the three Snow Trolls...a heavy amount of fire going into their positions may also slow them down a bit more so the Snow Trolls could catch them a bit easier.

Sounds like a really fun scenario to play.

Great shout, and great reaction to the perceptions!

I think it's pretty damn official when it comes from the author, haha.

Yup, Copplestone Yetis. Mark was cool enough to allow his yetis to stand in as snow trolls in the book - and darn good ones they make as well! (And super mega-cool to actually sculpt some figures for the game!).

I have a feeling the scenario is rather over-weighted against the high-level wizard, but, as I said, I haven't actually played it. So, anyone who wants to risk taking on the trolls, let me know how you get on!

Back in March I got the inimitable Matt Slade to paint up some Copplestone Yetis for my Tong Company for In Her Majesty's Name in exactly the same colours! Great minds and all that! :D

This looks like an interesting angle to approach the level balance. Love the story context of it. At the very least, it's more content for Frostgrave and that's excellent news. Nice work Joe, I look forward to giving it a whirl.
