Just beautiful!  This is a must have for my Lizardman army.  I'm wish I had known about the KS, would have totally jumped on that!

This... is... BRILLIANT!!!! Any chance you'll make the rider available separately as a foot hero/commander figure sans wings? :o

Thanks Lee! I was not really planning on making the foot version but I can look into it.

Eric,

Your body of work already has been off the charts not to put too fine a point on the matter, my young (former)apprentice. (Cue evil maniacal laughter) :D

I see potential for two conversions from this superb set already even if you don't issue a foot officer/hero version of the rider. The connection points for the rider''s wings can be covered over with a pair of MesoAmerican style back banners, while the outstanding prehistoric "tank" he's riding can take a howdah full of riders of ones choice and a suitably clad and equipped mahout to keep "Daisy" pointed and moving in the right general direction of the enemy... lol

I still have the basic components for a triceratops with howdah with a twist stashed away somewhere in our storage unit. The idea is for a the classic fantasy gaming trope of the big aggressive herbivorous dinosaur "domesticated" as a beast of war, but so "tamed" and put to use by Renaissance-style humans, so the howdah is packed with suitably clad figures armed with pikes, arquebus, etc. complete with a small swivel cannon on the howdah (perhaps two, as I still hadn't made up my mind yet as to how precisely I was going to execute the arrangement of the crew in the fighting compartment, as Games Sweatshop had gone from game company to corporate garbage in no uncertain terms, so a whole new set of suitable crew needed to be found).

I was going to add a cloth caparison for the dino sporting the heraldry of the city the dino was defending, plus suitable banners flying from the howdah, plus armor protection at least partially for the dino. Your latest creation actually has me attention, as I can see that the armor protection already sculpted on the beastie would be a great jumping off point for such a project.

Again, Eric, thus is a really impressive piece of work! I genuinely appreciate how you've been building from your knowledge of marine science to inform your creations. I'm going to have to save up my pennies and get one of these when they become available simply on principle as a centerpiece for my Bladestorm lizardmen warband.... 8)
