thanks for the comments guys!

yeah I was thinking either steel wool or cotton smoke would be great for wrecks.

my trip to goodwill was a win and a lose. I found plenty of muscle cars, which is great since I didnt have many. However, I was not able to find any good wheels for my war rig.

the next 4 cars. The guitar one im going to paint up for a friend who is leaving in a couple of weeks for china. It was his favorite car when he was a kid so I thought I would make it shiny and chrome.

should have these painted up soon and then I can dive into those new cars.

Have you seen the wheels I cast?

The new roll cages and exhausts look fab!

You have gotten the hang of the mad max visuals.

Cheers

I had a bit of a snafu with my clear coat. I accidentally bought a gloss clear coat instead of dullcoat because the packaging is almost exactly the same. So I ran out and grabbed some more and resprayed the shiny models and built a couple more.

there is still a little shine but its a lot better.

This will be my last big update for awhile. My GF gets back tonight after traveling for 10 weeks and at the end of the month I leave to Europe for a month. I might be able to get a little more work done but ill be spending a lot of time with the gf before I leave so dont expect much for awhile. Thanks for the comments as always.

Your styrene bending is impeccable. Any tips?

Nice work.
Matt.

Constable Bertrand- I use a lighter to heat up the styrene, it just takes a couple of seconds to get hot enough and I will sometime heat and bend it in little amounts to avoid burning.

Ive managed to find a little time to paint since I returned from viking land.Made sure to spray these guys with the right clear coat this time.

Im going to try and continue to update this project but it wont be nearly as active as it was over the summer.

Very nice, once you're on a roll we these it's easy to keep on going. I like your mix of rust and bare metal too.  8)
