MS 3D Builder?
« on: 12 December 2015, 07:20:26 PM »
I recently got an upgrade to Windows 10 on my PC, and it came with a copy of 3D Builder. It seems fairly basic - almost like a 3D version of MS Paint - but it's also pretty intuitive, IMO. I've tried Sketchup and Sculptris and whatnot, and they baffle me. I think could be something to practise on, at least.

Trouble is, see the tutorial video #4? The way he can summon up extra cylinders from the library? I can't do that. In fact I don't have the same interface as that video. 'Add a piece' just brings up my documents folder and I'm lost. I think I could've knocked out a decent wee not epic land raider by now, if not for that.

Anyone else tried it? Any opinions on adding pieces, or in general?

(And yeah, I'm going to hunt down a specific support forum for this, too.)
