Kosciuszko Uprising Game at Williamsburg Muster
« on: 06 February 2016, 04:02:06 AM »
Here are some pics and a brief description of the game I ran tonight.

The con is a lot of fun.  If you're anywhere near the area I recommend it.  Tomorrow it looks like there will be a full list of games.

Very cool game.

I have to say I haven't seen this period played in Poland :)

Thanks for the comments.  I'll be running it again at Cincy Con and Cold Wars in March.

There aren't too many people that make figures for the period which might explain the lack of any gaming in Poland.

Actually I do.  My company for figure manufacturing is Uprising Miniatures.  I've been selling them at US shows in the East but don't have much of a website yet.  I'll do a major redesign of it when I get my cavalry done.

Miniatures are certainly a factor here ,but I dont see much interest.

XVII century is period played most often, but anything later.. not much.
(apart from napoleonics and WWII I haven't seen any polish styled wargaming beyond XVII century locally.
Which is kinda sad..

I heard there are two Late XIX century games projects out there but they are early projects.
But in Kościuszko uprising you sir are monopolist :)
