Help, how should I paint old school ROMULANS?

Hello,
I'm looking to paint some old school ROMULANS from the original series.  After watching the two episodes I noticed that it can either go bronze with pink or bronze with blue.  Does anyone know if there is a real difference?

Back in the day, it was thought that the string vest was the garment of the future.



Never quite took off like they thought it would. We didn't end up with the generation of space-faring and nautical Rab C. Nesbitts that we imagined. Shame, really.
