Tiny Saxons for Dux Bellorum (update 05/09)

These particular Saxons are destined to fight some Late Romans in games of Dux Bellorum rather than Vikings.

Painted a Companions stand for this force, thereby completing the army although I have some cavalry (!) in the painting queue as well.

Nicely done, I am starting to understand the importance of light and contrasting colours for the smaller scale. I assume these unit frontages are 40mm?

Yes, they're on old Warmaster bases 40x20mm. According to the rules cavalry should be on 40x30 but i couldn't find those (though I subsequently did locate them). Depth doesn't really matter in Dux Bellorum though, so it's not really a worry for these.
I play with this base size using cm measurement on a 60x60cm board.
