Reaper kneeling paladin

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/kneeling%20paladin/latest/02906

I ordered this figure and he's just turned up from Uncle Sam. Has anyone had any experience of painting this figure? I'm wondering whether to paint the body and arms separate or glue him together, then get stuck in... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mine turned up today, a lovely little casting, looks much nicer than that kneeling bloke who cost a fortune from Uncle Sam!
