40k Slaaneshi Beastmen Kitbashing
« on: 21 November 2016, 10:30:00 PM »
First real attempt at kitbashing and I'm trying to put together some Slaaneshi beastmen with the massive amount of miscellaneous bitz I have in my bitz box. (No joke, it's a damn treasure trove. Two years ago, I bought a guy's entire batch of leftover stuff including two models that I sold for £30. I bought the whole thing for £30!)

I'm quite happy with how bullhead's turned out (although I need to clean my mould lines more, damn!) but I'm probably gonna try to find a power source for psyker and greenstuff some power cables to wire him up. The arms look a little bit disconnected otherwise.

Criticism is always wanted and also some names for these animal headed buggers.

Those look pretty freaking cool.  As you noted the mold lines need to be removed but other than that I think they look great.  I'm glad to see the beastmen making a return to 40K and soon you should be able to get your hands on 40K parts specifically for them, although not slaaneshi ones.

Thank you. Some of the mould lines are crazy on these beastmen. They're from an old original mould (1997 on the sprue) and I think I might have gotten some of the ones from the last castings on this production mould. One of the sprues had an outright mould SLIP on it, something I've not seen in awhile.

I'm probably gonna grab a few Tzaangors too when they come out. God I love beastmen.

Interesting! :o
Maybe the first one needs more neck, but apart from that you are making a tasty group. Looking forward to more :)
