Battle of Al Mansurah Buildings?

I'm attempting to recreate the Battle of Al Mansurah and am at the stage where I am starting to look at buildings so that I can take a break from painting all of the miniatures.

I've found a bunch of different manufacturers and am leaning towards Knights of Dice range of generic Desert Buildings since they seem to be pretty dang cheap.



Would these be historically accurate for the city? I've looked for reference photos/ drawings of Al Mansurah and have not been able to find any. I have found photos of places such as Old Siwa, but none else. I am a historical pedant, so when I start to branch off into Medieval Europe I'll have to find buildings without chimneys, and I suppose this level of historical pedantry also extends to this region as well!

Although some of these are more "ellaborate" in the double storey ones but I would use any adobe style buildings for this period especially when building a town

Our group "Dogs of War" recently did Mansurah using the SAGA rules. Great fun and not bad looking, most of the buildings were from Crescent Root Studios.
