Ok since I am waiting on a few projects to come my way

CAV Starter box [still hasn't seems some issues with the Australian fulfillment agent could get my package to New Zealand but recently been told it should be sent soon]
em4 6mm spacecraft for my Star Eagles fleet [were sent last week from the UK so should be here next week]

So what to do till then?

Well how about converting up some kill Teams for Shadow War Armageddon.

So I rummaged through my stash of miniatures and started to work out two factions one for me and one for my 9 year old son.

So far I have grabbed my Genestealer cult from the Death Watch overkill box and kit based some new minis:
Leader: [kit based bolt pistol out of his autogun and added on a scout chainsword arm.]
Specials: I have a reasonable selection to choose from
- Heavy Stubber [using autogun i was able to lengthen the barrel and add on an ammo belt to it]
- Mining laser No conversion required [can add a second one]
- Webber [ used autogun as the main body and then added on a flamer nozzle and canister]
- Grenade launcher No Conversion required [can add a second one]
Neophyte Hybrids:
- 2x Assault shotguns
- 3x Autoguns
Operatives:
- Purestrain Genestealer
- Acolyte Hybrid

the second faction is Tau

Leader: armed with Pulse Carbine
Patherfinders: all armed with Pulse Carbines
Pathfinder Specialists: 2x Rail guns
Drones: 1x MV33 Grav-inhibitor and 1x MV31 Pulse Accelerator Drone.
Operative: 1x Cadre Fireblade with Pulse Rifle.

The Tau were all converted from the GW Kill Team Tau. Just not sure what else I can do to my Son's KT...
So I have kit based the Two drones from the gun and shield drone from the KT box and also kit bashed the two Rail guns. I can potentially add two more Pathfinders with Pulse Carbines as I may have some spare in my bitz box.

Will post pics up soon also waiting for the Rule book to be released here in New Zealand so we can get some games in.

so after a digging through my stock pile of unused minis I now have 8 factions for SWA

Tau
Genestealer cult
Chaos Marines Tzeentch
Chaos Marines Nurgle
Orks [blood axes]
Inquisition
Space wolves Space Marine Scouts

Only thing I need to work out is a decent Space wolf scout squad the rest are sorted just need painting.
I recently bought the sniper scout box and also have some SM special weapons to choose from.

anyone play space wolves in SWA? got any advice??
