Thanks for the comments.
WallyTWest, the vehicles are Matchbox Models of Yesteryear. You can pick them up pretty cheap from EBay. I got about 20 of them for £20 but to be honest, that's way more than you'll need. They're a bit on the big side too but look ok on the board. I'll take a couple of picks later with some minis for size comparison.
Some people use Solidio.
There's also the some coming out for the Chicago way, they're resin I think and around £20 each but look really nice.
Cheers BF.

I know they are harder to come by overseas but I have a few extras if anyone wants them for a sensible price.
Postage may make them less attractive, though....

If you want a size comparison for Matchbox you can check out my SA thread where 'Shotgun Bob', the second-hand car salesman and Cult member (from Pulp Figures) provides scale.
The first page of the thread has a contents page so you should find the vehicles easily enough with a little root around:

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=39808.0

The cars start on page 58 or so.

WallyTWest, here's a pic of the truck with a couple of Artizan minis.

Started work on this today.

Shot with mini for scale.

Hope to get it finished tomorrow.
Cheers BF.

Also useful to keep your half-shoggoth grandson  away from inquisitive strangers.

A couple of pics of the Hillbillies at the barn with their truck.

Of course every back woods family needs at least one of these.
Chainsaw wielding maniac!!!

He still needs basing and varnishing.
Cheers BF

Wonderful themed set.  The ramshackle barn is perfect.  The hang on the door and gaps in the slats give it a genuine charm and authenticity.  The maniac is a solid addition to your mountain clan.  The head is from a GW flagellant but where did you get the body?  Clearly shouldn't be trusted with power tools, sheep or anything else for that matter.

That maniac is a superb addition to the gang.
Lovely brushwork, as usual.

The maniac is from Fenris games, one of the mutant hillbillies. The pitchfork was cut away and replaced with a Hasslefree chainsaw (with bent paper clip for handle)
Cheers BF.

Very nice job on the barn. How long do you reckon it too start to finish?

It took about 8hrs or so including time for washes and glue to dry. The most time consuming part was making the fences.
Finished the hillbilly maniac.

Next up... his twin brother...
Cheers BF.
