Your weapons squad really deserves a squad leader too.

What is the ETAC?  That used to be an air force guy (enlisted terminal attack controller) but I think now they use J(oint)TAC, and typically you don't see them in regular infantry units, especially at platoon level.   He is part of the TACP (Tactical Air Control Party) at BN level.

Every time a bad person dies, a Paratrooper gets his wings.

Hello Jake,
The Weapons squad does come with a squad leader, thanks for spotting this. We will correct the original post.

An ETAC is the soldier carrying the Jammer for Remote Detonated IEDs.  It is a squad dismounted portable device. Picture should be on the website.
This is similar to the vehicle mounted devices which perform the same role.

JTAC is still a JTAC thing and not related and JTACs can be pushed down to platoon level but they often are not because of the limited amount available.
