Flames of War - Jordanian infantry platoon

Picked up a platoon pack of the FoW Jordanians from the new Fate of a Nation range.
 
Question - I know that these guys used british uniforms and american rifles and browning mg's. However the figures look very very similar to British ww2 8th army - and have Bren guns. Are they really the same figs?

I don't mind really they are 15mm after all - but the Bren guns annoy me for some reason!!

They did use bren guns so that is correct.

Figures are nice and crisp - first 15's I'll have tackled for a good few years. Looking forward to the challenge.
