Three Games of Shadow War: Armageddon
« on: 16 February 2018, 09:36:55 AM »
I played three quick games of Shadow War: Armageddon this week with my family in preparation for a weekend campaign I am hosting this weekend.

fun was had.

Full reports of the games and loads of pictures can be found on my blog:

The First game was between my kids - Orks versus Harlequins in the caverns....

All set up and ready to go

The two sides meet in a central cavern - there they had a short sharp fight.

The Second game pitted my Tallarn against my wife's Tau in an abandoned desert village...

Tau sneaking in tight formation.

It ended up being a pretty one-sided affair as my grenadier caught most of the Tau all bunched up with one frag grenade...

The third was back in the caverns (but NEW ONES) and my Tallarn fought The Girl's Harlequins

The Harlequins were raiding my Forward Operating Base. In ended up being a pretty bitter struggle..

Thought the Harlequins pretty much got away unscathed, while knocking half my force out of action and making off with my team leader!?

That's a pretty good modular cave set up, for some reason it makes me think of the underground missions in the original warcraft.

"Your command?" - "At once, my lord!"

Hit the nail on the head there Voltan, it really does! A damn good compliment if I do say so myself.

Overall, the games look absolutely fantastic, nicely painted mini's with some great scenery - Can't ask for anything more! Keep up the awesome work Saskatoon.
