I decided to paint the weapons black and half the knee pads as well. It is not quite the contrast I wanted but when compared to some of my recently finished Ukraine Army minis they do look more advanced.

The painting of the new Russian camouflage on the figure 1/35. It is quite possible to use these techniques for 28 mm.

Oh clever. I'm just about to start on a batch of 20 individuals in Russian style Gortex Suites with Russian style tactical vests/body amour. That technique will work great for the vests.
