Working on a Flier - What Color?

Hey,

I am working on a VSF Flier for troops, but I got to the painting point, and I got stumped.

What color should I paint it?  I am kinda leaving it 'neutral' so it can be used on different sides on a game to game basis...

Any ideas?

If it is to belong to an Earth nation, consider a color scheme similar to Naval vessels. If its something I'm going to be shooting at in a game paint it a bright color, making it easier to hit.

W?t nation will the flier be for? Can you post a photo of the unpainted machine?

If it's a neutral that can be moved between nations, you could go with a simple ship scheme. So, dark grey/black for the underside, a light grey/white for the main buildingybits, light wood for the deck (assuming it's wood), and a coloured line running round the hull and the upper levels, probably red.

Alternatively, if it's quite VSF and odd looking (rather than a Nef), you could go for layers of brass and bronze. Or paint it in the greens and reds common to traction engines.

I am gunna change it into an IG flier for a 40k tournament...
