That link takes me to some kind of log-in page, friend. There must be some mistake.

Welcome to the LAF, by the way.

The heads are an improvement on the WF ones (which, for those that haven't seen them, have mould lines right where you wouldn't want them), but maybe a little big for the WF torsos.

You could try the Brigade zombies - either the WW2 germans (I paint them up as moderns), or the new modern civilians, for a bit of variety - the former come with two head options, so you'd have some spares to use on the WF ones.

As bad as the WF heads are, for me, the mismatch between the torsos and legs is as much a problem - without a lot of additional work, they just look odd as single models.  I plan to "hide" the WF ones i've bought, in the centre of hordes, where the waistlines aren't visible.

Costwise, as i mentioned on the thread on GWP (which i'm assuming is yours as well?), both the Brigade modern civvies, and the Mississinewa minis are pretty competitive costwise - i've just taken up Brigades 50 zeds for $80 offer, and the last batch of c20 zeds I bought from mississinewa cost me about $25 inclu P&P to the UK.

{cue Scurv, accusing me of being a WF hater...again...}

Nice to see you didn't miss your cue.

 lol

The Eureka German grenade launchers are a definite buy for me.

Also good to see someone is looking at Red Shadows.

One thing that would be good is names/links to comic book germans from Brit comics. Stuff like 'Hellmann of Hammer force, Skremer of the stukas, Dog soldiers (the one about the panzer grenadier that was a crack throw with a potato masher. Might of got the title wrong.) Fiends of the eastern front, and other comic book germans like that. Costa is looking for ideas for his comic book germans.

This might be of use - you can access all of the strips from "Battle".

Can't go into the album but of course there's one preview pic which I can see. It looks good. I painted up my 12 WGF zombies last weekend and the heads were my main beef. Apart from the heads (which are a bit realistic but lack definition) they seemed like a close match size-wise for Cold War zombies. The bodies look ok next to them but the heads would need more conceptualisation and be a bit more cartoony to work.

These Westwind heads look like a nice solution though I agree that they are a bit large for the not too bulky WGF zeds. I guess you can get away with a lot in a horde (have lots of GW with big heads in there too anyway) and it asdds variation, which is a good thing 8)

Thanks for sharing.
