Greetings to you My Lord and may the Emperor guide your hand. My stay at Bangor Prime has been surprisingly restful, filled with endless weeks of paperwork and review of statements.  The staff also seems to find the stay here restful, but I suspect this was your intent after the Alpatia Affair.  Believe me when I say that if this is the case, we all thank you.  For the past several months (see sub-section Pacification & Education), the Imperial landers have been removing the Imperial Guards Regiments and deliverying all necessary supplies as proscribed by the Imperial Naval timetables (see sub-section Imperial Navy).  A well equipped, but small token Imperial Guard force remains to quell any unforseen uprisings.  Recently, the inhabitants of Bangor Prime have been brought back into the fold of the Imperial Faith and all noticeably questionable heretical forces have been neutralized (see sub-section Organized Resistance, Fall of the Kingdom of Pranor, Liquidation of Ruling Classes and Pranorian Clans).   The newly constructed Chapel of the Emperor attended by the Order of the Rose (see sub-section Sisters Sororatis) and members of the Eccliesiarchy (see sub-section Imperial Indoctrination and Eductaion) have begun a campaign to bring about order and unity to the recently liberated nation-states of Bangor Prime.

The peoples of this pre-blackpowder culture are quick to learn and willingly accepting of the truth of the Emperor.  They are a hard working and shockingly honesty, if not naive.  Thankfully, they are a people who know their place once it is assigned and have no issues revealing questionable activities of their neighbors, even anxious to do so.  I believe that the the Imperial Guard will find the people of Bangor Prime an exceptionally dedicated warrior class.  Almost all the male inhabitants seem to marvel at the standard imperial lasgun or "firelances" as they call them (see sub-section Vernacular Language & Idioms).  The people seem to have a natural affinity for husbandry and I believe the remaining aristocratic classes will make a fine transition from armored cavalry to Imperial Rough Riders or possibly even Armor Corps.

As you know my lord, Bangor Prime is to become an established agri-world.  There are a few small mountain ranges, an unpopulated equatorial jungle, continents of virgin forests and vast stretches of exceptionally fertile plains (see sub-section Bangor Geography).  The people themselves have been involved in almost no organized mass industry for the past several thousand years.  Any rising technology has been destroyed by inter-tribal warfare or natural disasters.  Thus for over four thousand years, the people of Bangor Prime have happily lived in a pre-blackpowder state (see sub-section Bangor Technology).  My scribe and aid, Ophelia, will organize and send updated files at your convenience.

I do have some slight concern that I am currently looking into at this moment.  During my review of their limited written history, there seems to be several referrences to the "ancient spirits" and "travellers of the stars."  This may be nothing but folklore, but I would perefer not to leave any loose ends (see sub-section Bangor Prime Folklore, History and Xenos Contact).  The spacial anomally on the edges of the Ardentia System (see sub-section Ardentia System Geography) are currently warded with beacons until the Imperial Navy can properly allocate special research resources to study the area.  I would like to suggest that perhaps the Xenos Eldar have been in contact at sometime with the people of Bangor Prime.  I have asked the current Military Govenor, General Gustav Saar, to send out expeditions to catalogue and destroy any trace of Xenos contamination, be it actual xenos workmanship (which none has been found) or indigenous craftsmanship and manufacture recognizing/commemorating/deifying xenos presecence in the universe.

As always my Lord Inquisitor, it is an honor to serve the Emperor.  Any files you need will be updated and sent immediately.  I look forward to joining you once our service here is done.  May the hand of the Emperor sweep away all obstacles.

The indoctrination of Bangor Prime has been expedited by the intelligent and wise use of Imperial resources by Commanding Military Govenor General Gustav Saar.  It should be noted that he has been unfailing in his service to the Emperor.*  The Imperial Guard Regiments are now leaving in force via Imperial Navy as they are no longer needed at this time.  A small, yet well equipped Imperial Guard Force is stationed at key points on the planet.  These key points are the Military Govenor's Fortress (Govenor Saar is now using the newly liberated fortress of the once titular king of Pandathay), the Saar spaceport outside of Pandathay Proper, Research Facility Argo, Water Purification Facility Hydra One (in the Nemendian Jungle), Shorepoint Transit Station (at the Grondor Mountian Range), Hyperion Communications Relay (at the Northern Pole) and the Imperial Reeductaion Facility (in the Himbru Desert).  Imperial Guard units are randomly moving into provincial capitals supporting loyal lords and vassals.  Crime is negligible.

After the liquidation of heretics of the kingdom of Pranor, Imperial Forces were removed from that area.  The devastation levied against the "King" of Pranor and it's allies was motivational to say the least.  Estimated casualties were 187,000 armed heretics, 25,000 heretical cavalry and 732 Imperial Guardsmen.  The Govenor has decided to let the last of the Baphomet A-7 nerve gas used against the heretics to completely dissipate before garrisoning the area with Imperial Guard forces.  The area should be cleared to garrison in another month.  Should any indigenous survivors exist afterwards, they will be quarantined for the next three generations or until genetic viability and stability is assured.

I have assigned myself to the 1789th Georgian Rifles.  I will be moving about personally reviewing the Imperial Guard morale.  The general staff will keep me informed of any details at the capital.  I have been asked by an agent of the Inquistion to monitor the catalogue and removal of any xenos taint on Bangor Prime.  There seems to be some question as to this possability.  It may be possible, but I find it implausible.  The people here have lived in a pre-blackpowder state for several generations if not over a thousand years.  There has been no evidence of xenos technology on Bangor Prime during it's induction back into Imperial rule.

*The Imperial Guard sustained 732 casualties because of the unknown existence of astropathic mutants (also known as witches and /or shamans).  These losses were sustained in random sizes, ranging from individual to platoon level (thought to be well devised ambushes).  Once the mutatant forces had been uncovered, a new direction in embracing the inhabitants of Bangor Prime began to form that day.  Imperial Guard General Orlov Dolensky was executed for dereliction of duty and immediately replaced with Imperial Guard General Gustav Saar.
