Cheers guys! Next up some scenery. I received 'Miles Behind Us' a couple of weeks ago and saw I needed a barn. I checked out MDF barns, but I didn't really like them. But then a week ago I saw a cardboard barn by Umbum. Now I know Umbum because I also have a castle from them and I really like the stuff. It's sturdy, textured card, has excellent graphics and can be assembled without glue. So I bought it online and when it arrived I assembled it in no-time. And it has some moving parts too! You can open the doors and the roof can be opened so you can also play inside. Good stuff.
I did remove the tabs from the outside of the barn to remove some of the cardboard look and covered the slots with leftover cardboard or moss and leaves, added hot glue to the inside to strengthen the structure and colour the edges of the cardboard with felt markers. And now I have a barn that is perfect in terms of size and I really like the look of it. Can't wait to use it in the game :)

Good job on that.
You've convinced me to look at what else they do.

Never really been a fan of card buildings before but that looks fantastic, opened my eyes a little.
I'll definitely be checking out some of their stuff now.

Cheers! And they make some awesome cardboard terrain. For example, their medieval castle and village look very nice and you can assemble them well without seeing the typical cardboard tabs with some effort.

I like Umbum, though it is Russian in origin. I got the old gate house about a year ago. Some pieces can be found on Etsy.
