Battle of Bickley's Farm ACW battle report

Spanish War of Succession, using the papers I have assembled since the beginning of May.  Steve has a wargames shed - so will be set up in that. Talking of ACW I have sent away for those Wofun 18mm 2d printed plexiglass figures. I have Peter Pig's ACW rules, they would fit in with those.

My wife made me a bandanna tonight for all this "thou must wear a mask in shops" type stuff. Just need some spurs, boots, Stetson / sombrero, six shooter to go with it.

Just a random 'Mystic Meg' question, but on the underside of the farmhouse are there the letters 'PKS' in black in one corner?


I have just dashed off & had a look, unfortunately I have painted the base black.
I can say though, I am not the maker of the building. Please tell me if it was you,
& if it was... Much MUCH admiration. Well done & have you got any more stuff
to sell?

Unless someone made a close copy of it, I did indeed build it.


My pic is of an old 'proper' photograph, as I believe I built/sold it around 1993/4, before digital photography! 

It looks to have survived incredibly well for a one-off, free-standing scratchbuild.  You (and any previous owners) have obviously looked after it.  I assume the door (originally white) has been repainted at some time to match the shutters.

It depends what you are after.  I have some buildings that don't get much use, but just odds'n'ends.  If you were after something specific I might be able to build it for you, as I currently have plenty of spare time

Nice looking game, where did you get your carpet tiles please sir?

Carpet tile were from Woolworths over 30 years ago.
As they were discontinued they only cost 50p each.
B&Q do carpet tiles, but theirs are bigger. I have donated my B&Q ones
to the school club as they are harder to store.
