Ooo... that one nice table. You almost made me stop building my modern table....

Then again, a city can have a big park section :)

Thanks for posting and inspiring me

Silent Invader, could you explain those river sections a bit more?  When I first saw them in your previous thread I thought you were using aluminum foil.  So the felt material, paint, and acetate together are stiff or flexible?  A few years ago I saw some river sections which were covered in the meltable clear material available in model train shops.  However, one of the river sections had a nasty crack in it, probably because the backing material wasn't stiff enough.  I was thinking of using some 3 play aviation model plywood as a backing material, painting it, and painting clear coat over it to give it the wet look, flocking the edges of course.  However, the plywood is expensive and I'm not sure that it wouldn't warp.  If it did warp it wouldn't lie flat.  But if a more flexible material was used the painted on gloss coat might crack.  Maybe your acetate covering is better...

Silent, I wish you would make an idiot-proof, baby step-by-step, PDF tutorial for noobies like... er.... me. If you ever find the time.  ;)

Brilliant, inspiring table. Really nice work.

Hadn't seen the Conquest Indians before now - can anyone recommend a UK stockist?
