Something new from a 75 year old game company, Tudor Games.

Found this interesting article about a new product for miniature football by Tudor Games called the Uni-form.  Check it out!  Some links in there to great videos as well.

They look horrible - in my opinion anyway.

Yeah...up close you can see all the warts.  I'm a big fan of the game Electric Football.  It's a 75 year old rewarding hobby with an impressive following.  I paint my own teams but I know a lot of folks can't paint as well as I can.  So I think several people will get into these Uni-Forms.  Kind of like the old saying about 6mm figures "they look good at arms length".  I think that may apply here.  Up close you can see all the seams and flaws but on the the field I suspect they will look pretty good.  The biggest benefit I see is the myriad of Uni-form options, what with throwback, classic, color-rush, and all the host of specialty NCAA uniforms are now all on the table.  I think it will overall be good for the hobby.  Though those like me, will likely continue to paint their own teams.
