The Con Game...for next year.

Well, this past weekend was our local gaming convention, Winter War, and I was out sick for the entire weekend. Luckily I had not planned on running anything this year, but I did have to miss playing in a couple of games that I was looking forward to.

Anyway, this has given me impetus to start working on something for next year. My main idea is a pair of games set in China, based on The Sand Pebbles, specifically the rescue of the Minister and his daughter. One game will be running the boom. The other game, which will depend on the first game, would be the rescue itself.

I think that I have almost all of the figures that I need painted. I just need to work on terrain. I am thinking I will need a small village and a mission. Oh! And a gunboat.
