What figure ranges match the Official Silver Bayonet figures?

So what figure ranges do you consider to match the official figures in terms of scale and stature?

At Salute I picked up a pack of Rifles and a Sailors pack.
Here is one of the Rifleman and the Silver Bayonet release figure.

As you can see, there's a noticeable difference in the height (or maybe it is just me).

To my eye, that looks like it falls well within the range of natural height variation — which is a look I prefer, especially for skirmish games, as long as the heads don't look like completely different species and the guns don't look too far out of size.
 
I think this pair looks fine together.
 
5'7" was typical male height for the period.  If most of your figures are 30mm to top of head (28mm to eye), then up to ±4mm is very natural for the tall and the short ones.  But that's my tastes.

I agree with Cat. They look fine together. I'm 5'7" and have several friends between 6'1 to 6'6". We all look fine together. 😊

They look fine together to me. Some height and weight variation helps break “the clone effect.”

been picking up a selection of figures from diff. manufacturers, and will post a comparison thread in due course.

one thing's that struck me is that if heads in particular are in scale with each other, it goes a long way to helping with height differences.

those two you've posted look fine to me in that context.

I've yet to buy into a range of figures where consistency is maintained internally, let alone between ranges, tbh.

Look to me well within the normal range of human heights.  Furthermore, you could expect that many of the individuals during the Napoleonic period who "went for a soldier" would be from more impoverished backgrounds (see below re Wellington's famous remark about "the scum of the earth") and might be shorter due to childhood malnutrition.
