Cheers,

Is that where the 1/72 community centers around? I don’t find too many 1/72 blogs out there. There are some great ones, but not a lot

The guild was a great 20mm community. Not sure where that community resides now.

Cheers,

Thank you for that link. 1/72 plastic is my preference for wargaming, so I'm always on the hunt for manufacturers & product announcements.

The bigger manufacturers like Italeri, Zvezda and Pegasus are easy enough to get here in Oz...but PSC, Mars, Red Box etc are difficult to source here, and seem to be snaffled up quickly once the few online retailers source them. It can be a little difficult if you're interested in gaming & modelling conflicts outside the scope of WW2. Having said this, I do enjoy the 'hunt' for figures.

I've been thinking about starting a ECW collection in 1/72 plastic...but I think it's gonna be a non-starter until there are some decent re-issues.

All the best.

I also enjoy the hunt for 1/72 options. With 28mm there are so many choices, I would find myself agonizing over what decision to make. With 1/72, anything I come across feels like a little victory.

@crafty - I'm not sure if you're interested but zvezda also has a really great line of Samurai that are plentiful on ebay and a low price. I bought two boxes of each of their samurai sets so i can have two forces at 1/72. Then I picked up some sohei style monk warriors and artillery from Red Box.

The one box I'm really tracking down, and can't find anywhere except a gouger on ebay, are the Zvezda Hundred Year's War English Infantry.
