Not an "Intro" but a plea for help!

[Too Bo Coo]

Dear LAF community,

Some of the older members know me as TBC or Too Bo Coo, my name is Erik Olsen and I was until yesterday a Professor of American Studies at the Russian State University of Humanities. Due to the current situation my family, my wife, 4 year old son and myself are forced to flee Russia with two suitcases. We are leaving everything else behind. As of last week it is now impossible to send money abroad. I am a Dutch-American and we will be returning with my family to Holland with the clothes on our backs.
If/when we can arrive we have Dutch friends who will help with short term accommodations. Friends from where I grew up in New York have started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to help us. I am so sorry and embarrassed to appeal to the community like this but we are very desperate and very scared for our safety.
If anyone can help to promote and/or contribute to helping us get on our feet it would be greatly appreciated.
