Big Battle Air Rules

Hey all,

I'm really into planes - specifically, big battles, both in the Battle of Britain vein and stuff like Midway. Unfortunately, most air games for WW2 seem to be aimed at playing single planes. Are there any games out there aimed at larger-scale engagements? My plan is to mount multiple 1/600 planes on each base I make.

Some people are modifying Fistful of Lead's Star-ship battles.

The Wings At War range from Tumbling Dice sound like they would suit your needs, although aircraft are still based individually.

I have played a game called (I think) “Spitting Fire” which might suit. We played with individually based aircraft but I think they could be based together. I believe that was from MJ12 games, but I can’t find it on their site.
