Sci-fi Japanese and Germans

Merry Christmas from the front,

I was wondering if you have a previous discussion regarding Sci-fi Japanese and Germans. If not, could you recommend some sites that sell 28mm sci-fi Japanese and Germans. This includes vehicles and, in the very small scale, ships from fighters to capitol ships.

The Wargames Atlantic Raumjager are kind of sci-fi extrapolation of German fallschirmjagers. https://wargamesatlantic.com/collections/demo-collection/products/raumjager-infantry-box-set

Some of the weapons/gear is inspired by modern and ww2 German equipment, but it’s relatively understated. They might fit what you’re after. Kind of a near future look, rather than space opera.

Some of those might work if you want the Japanese-ness to be quite overt. If you want it more understated, I would be inclined to pick a ‘generic’ sci fi line (just as an example, Stargrave Troopers) and paint on the national markings.

For Germans I use a mix of Bauhaus from Warzone and Urban War Viridians. I think Scotia Grendel has them.

I also have some Artizan pulp Germans from the Thrilling Tales line including two robots. Only downside is the WW2 guns but I like the rest of the retro sci-fi feel.

For Japanese some of the Void 'Urban War' Triads , but also other Void 1.1 are great Manga style powered armour troops.
Also Warzone had a Japanese faction but they were a bit over the top.

Isn’t it also an option to use any one of those gazillions of WWII plastics and pimp them up with SciFi parts? Or are the scales too different?
