Hey everyone,

I'm planning on starting a WWII skirmish project I know there's lots of wonderful miniature manufacturers for 20mm, but I haven't been able to find anyone with either retailers within the EU, or registered for IOSS, which means stupid import duties -_- aside from AB, that is, who are sold through Eureka Miniatures in the UK, and they're IOSS registered. However, they're a bit expensive (I'm sure they're worth it, but you do pay a bit of a pretty penny) and I would like to have some alternatives (also being able to buy individual, or smaller numbers of miniatures would be nice).

Otherwise, what are generally the best 1/72 or 20mm plastics? I know of plasticsoldierreview.com but I can't go check every German Infantry kit, as you may understand. Great website, though.

Thanks in advance!

I buy from Eureka UK and he discounts the 20% VAT for items going outside of the UK.

For my last big order of AB WW2 and Naps, I placed the order directly to AB Figures Australia (Eureka) and as it was over AU$400, I got a 20% discount and tracked international shipping was AU$25.
I did pay C$41 duty when they arrived in Canada but saved a lot going direct.
Wargamers do it on a table.

Seems to be very hit and miss with customs, I am sending plenty of 10mm and 20mm to the EU and talking to customers their doesn't seem to be pattern, except large boxes seem to get looked at more than the small parcels, so maybe keep the value down ie under £30-£40, that's just a thought.
