Rules for 6mm Fantasy with 40mm width troop blocks

Just to circle back around to this, I have a game of Fantastic Battles with a real opponent scheduled for Sunday, so we’ll see how it goes.  I should have enough characters for the game by then.  I just need to add a little more flow improver to the paint … (Figures are all from Irregular, wizards from the fantasy range, CR9, and knights from one of their medieval “posh packs”).

Those are great! Impressive work at such a tiny scale! I particularly like the knights and the ogre (?).

Well, we do have one other guy in the club who’s a fan of To the Strongest; I’ve only played it once, but I’m in the middle of rebasing some 6mm figures for their ECW variant, For King and Parliament.

Another option is Fantasy Rules! 3 or TCE (a simplified version) from Chipco games. You can get hold of them from facebook now days. https://www.facebook.com/chipco2

The units are 40mm square bases or larger for Leviathans and they have a great morale clock system, which Little wars TV uses for some of their rules.

Another set aimed at 6mm fantasy is Lords and Lands. I believe you can get them free now through contacting the author on this blog
