Andy!
So bloody good to see you back
And what a lovely little build
That is wonderful work!
Glad you're back at it, and that's a neat little cottage!
What outstanding work.
Nice!
Thanks gents! It’s amazing how gluing little blue bricks can give you peace of mind!

Lovely work.
Makes me want to get my XPS bricks out again!
Do it! Do it! Do it!

Welcome back, mate
And that's a seriously nice re-entry project. You're right; it can be useful for a plethora of settings, but it screams Middle Earth to me for obvious reasons.
Also; congrats on the hobby room! A word of warning though; it'll fill up faster than you can foresee. Ask me how I know...
Na, the missus sees to that! All boxes of shite(what she call me boxes of bits) must go in the attic!

Love it! Well done indeed.
That's amazing!
The WIP shots do remind a bit of that classic drawing meme though... it goes from 'ah yes, I could follow these steps' to 'complete and amazing' with nothing in between
Too kind gents!
Yeah, I noticed that as well
What are you using for the cement between the blocks, as that looks like it took quite a bit of time and effort
Effort? I don’t do effort!

Just splodge on slightly runny polyfilla(other brand names are available!

) with an old credit card/spatula, then brush off the excess with water. I painted the bricks before I did this for ease of painting too.
Very happy to have you back among us Andy and with a very nice build!
Nice work Andy
A hobby room - hurrah!!!
I agree lovely work, but what are XPS bricks?
Just wow Andy!
Very impressive.
Cheers guys.
What a cosy hovel for that demigriff knight to stay at. Though I'm sure he might say something about the weeds and squeaky gate.
Looks amazing Andy, nicely done. It's good to get the old juices flowing again doesn't it.
Cheers
Matt
Thanks mate. I’ve been getting the Age of Sigmar magazine recently. Some of the models are great(the new Orcs/Orruksare good) but the Sigmar Marines not so much. I changed this guy so he might me more useful. Left the Joan Collins shoulder pads off and used an old Bretonian helmet to make him look like a more normal knight.
I might start up a wee Fantasy minis thread with the minis I’ve managed to paint from that.

Congrats on the dedicated hobby space. That always makes it easier to actually do something.
Fantastic cottage.
Yeah it means my wee boy is in amongst my models too, but hey, if something breaks….that’s what glue is for. As long as he enjoys it too.
