Rediscovered this great thread & it got me the itch to start painting some of my 15mm fantasy minis.... & move back my scifi ones in the queue :?.

Nice work.
Keep it up.

Such great work on those knights! The Demonworld range is really fun to see painted well.

Cheers, folks

Excellent job! Between the crisp sculpting and your painting, these could pass as 28mm figures! You have a very cool project going in this thread. I always enjoy seeing your updates.

I suspect they're probably better than my 28mm stuff - fewer details to get overwhelmed by! I'm painting up a small 28mm sci fi mini right now, and it's taking aaaages in comparison

These are lovely - great work on the shields, which bring them to life tremendously!

I think simple shapes and dividers are the way to go - with the number of repaintings the symbols got, the shields are looking distinctly convex.

That's all one could really ask for: waylaying a fellow hobbyist  :D

It's a shame I'd been sleeping on Ral Partha so long. I'd had them in my bookmarks for years, but I only recently started adding some of their warbands as affordable items on the Christmas / birthday wish list. They really are very good

Both the elves and the knights are excellent!

Thanks!

Got fed up with this fellow clogging up the painting queue, so I'm calling him done. The banner has seen enough new layers as I tried to get the display just right that it's looking decidedly textured.

Evidently this unicorn is having a bad tail day. Or enjoyed a particularly powerful vindaloo.

Nice work! I think the unicorn 'reads' just fine.

I'm just getting back into 15mm and finding loads of inspiration in this thread!

The unicorn's tail is on fire as it should be.  ;)

The figure is great.

That is a magnificent little banner bearer!

I have the same issues with anything larger than 15mm: I do like bigger models, but they take so much time!
