This project just gets better every time I see it - may I suggest you try the old Avalon Hill board game Robin Hood as I found it made a useful mechanism for adding a campaign dimension to one's tabletop games.

Excellent figures with a very subdued pallette.  Love the Stag design on the shields.

Nearly missed the castle guard update, like the muted tones on the colour scheme.

Threadsurrectiion warning!

While contemplating which of my smaller projects to try and fit into my over-busy modeling list for the year, I went looking for Robin Hood inspiration and found this thread.  Well worth bringing back to the top.  Chock full of ideas to inspire me.  Sure, I will be doing mine in 15 mm but still many cool ideas.  And, yes, some of the stuff here can be found in 15 mm!

So, great job to the OP (I commented early on but hadn't paid a return visit).

apologies for the threadomancy, but what make was the plastic castle you used? The Simba Falcon one that WK mentioned? couldn't see where you got it, one post it was going to be foam, next your modifying a plastic kit  lol
