I've stopped receiving Notification emails

Totally missed this thread.
I've just purged my old messages (  700+ thinking my inbox might be at capacity) as I've notifications of new messages coming through. Then logging in to no new messages. Latest being Yesterday (18th).
So it's nice to see I'm not the only one who's being ignored by technology.

Slightly different here - I've had a duplicate notification come through (despite having an empty mail system).

New issue for me is receiving an old stale notification from a thread last updated in December.  Turning off notifications has no effect - I receive an email daily.
