Excellent job! Those totally look the part. Just curious, how big are the armies you’re planning on building?

Thank you,

Army size, I'm not quite sure yet.  When it comes to collecting armies I am a bit of a megalomaniac (my Alexandrian Successor armies are 3,000 Xyston minis lol)

Uruk Hai, I am probably looking at 10 pike bases, 4-6 swordsmen, 6 crossbow, plus a load of lessor Orcs and Goblins.  I'll see how that goes and build the 'Good' armies accordingly.

I intend to play Midgard, which would make these very big armeis but we shall see how it goes lol

Nice figures and very well painted to add to the delight.
Are they brittle being printed? I have found that the resin weapons break at a glance most of the time at 15mm and below scales?
Cromarty forge use some wonderful flexible resin which will take bring dropped or knocked by heavy handed use?

Jim, I think Cromarty Forge only make the print files - the resin will be whatever mix the person or company doing the printing uses. A couple of my pals do their own resin printing and they both use flexible resins. I don’t know if it’s an off-the-shelf resin, or some alchemical mix they came up with by mixing a couple types. It does resist breakage fairly well, even for 10mm and 15mm prints.

Frostie, the armies you describe are going to be a sight to behold! I know how it can go, with an army growing beyond what you’re likely to use on the table (my 15mm orc army escalated quickly), but there are ways to work around that. For Midgard, you can always use more bases as a single unit, and play on a bigger table- imagine 4 of your bases, 2 wide x 2 deep, as one unit! It would look AMAZING!

Thank you.

The robustness of the resin is always a concern but so far they have been ok.  Whilst not a flexible resin they are very good.  Richard at ROK Minis prints all of his stuff at 15/10mm.

To be fair on resin minis, I have have more issues with Wargames Atlantic 10mm Samurai with loosing weapons whilst trying to cut them off their sprues.

I do like the Cromity Forge minis, they look good.

I do like the visual aspect of the game.

As i said I am a bit of a meglomaniac when it comes to collecting armies.  My 15mm fantasy collect is probably near 5,000 figures coving many many races.  I have at least 4 different Orc/Goblin armies, from 4 different manufacturers.  I also have two very large 3d printed armies, Undead and Chaos Demon....The Demon army just keeps getting bigger lol Well to be fair most of them just keep growing lol

The 'double base' per unit for 15mm armies is something that I have considered, it would look great in 10 and 15mm
