I suspect the sculpts are meant to be Sean Bean! OK, not the best likeness bur almost passable.

TV likeness doesn't automatically mean actor likeness, it's close enough to Bean for 28mm

According to WA, the fair-haired one is the TV Sharpe (aka Mr. Bean). The other one is supposed to be the Sharpe as described in the Cornwell books - a dark-haired Londoner with a nasty scar. Both are fine for me!

Although I love the sculpts and the promise of the rest of Sharpe's men, I have absolutely no use for 54mm figures. That means I'd be paying $24.95 for a 28mm figure with two heads and arm options! That's beyond exorbitant! I wouldn't pay that for a license to print the STL file unless it included an unlimited use/sales license. I'm disappointed, but for me, this is a hard pass.

I would have bought into this instantly if it wasn’t for the 54mm part. I don’t even really have a plan for them but I would have probably picked them up. I hope the 28mm and 54mm are on separate sprues and they consider selling them separately or I’d imagine they’ll lose potential sales with other hobbyists like me not being able to justify the cost/waste (although I’m sure there’s plenty that’ll pick these up).

I’ve always played with idea of getting 54 mm peninsular but there’s so much else to do first, and of course no one to play with…
