It was very cool. Not a huge dsiplay but some lovely items. The rest of the museum is a mad scientists dream too, some great inspiration in there.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I went along today. Absolutely brilliant exhibits. Lots of photos taken.

Thanks for the tip.

I went home for the day last Friday and had a look around with some uni mates.

Also went to Modern Art Oxford and the Ashmolean, which was utter rubbish (speaking as an art student, of course).

Steampunk exhibit, bloomin awesome. All the other apparatus they have there is wonderous as well though. Beautifully made objects.

I have just come back from the exhibition today and it is really rather good.

I have to say it is quite small, although the museum itself has a lot of impressive stuff, and entry is free so there can be no complaints.

If you do get a chance to go the 'space helmet' is really cool as are the working hot air engines.

Yes - no problem with cameras
They don't like flash photography though.
Saving the last bullet... just in case.

See my wonderful BLOG of stuff!

Cameras are allowed but NO flash photography.

Hahaha they don't like flash photography. You make them sound prudish or something.

Were you dressed up? I may have seen you...

Also, there was a chap I felt the need to take photographs of as he was dressed in a fashion that I'm currently converting figs to look like for vsf... (red jacket, pith helmet, aether bottle, suits you sir!)

We went on manikin day, which seemed to largely consist of a chap asking members of the audience who'd come in costume if they'd stand on a plinth for ten minutes...

Several steampunk types from the Brass Goggles forum were there on manikin day as a large group, but there is a good chance they were in the pub if you visited around lunchtime ;)
