Hmm,price is good, height is good, appearance is okay... how well do they take  paint?

Yeah, they are tempting, especially at that price...

Might have to order a selection of some of the figures suggested just to see how they compare to each other and to my dwarves.  Variation in style and size fits my view of Orcs/Goblins/Kobolds as armies.

What about the GW LOTR plastic ones they should be fairly cheap to pick up on e-bay etc?

example... you could add in the metals where you fancy some characters etc

LOL, right now I am at about 200% of my monthly money to waste... use... on Ebay biding.

 lol there shold be lots over in the US too, cheap as chips, those would equate to 10 cents each I think. ;D

Starts about $1.20 each on Evilbay for most.  Still Cheap...
