Gripping Beast Plastics
« on: 09 March 2010, 02:41:43 PM »
I'm sure I've read somewhere on this forum about these but I cant find the thread.

Anyway I got a link through on the newsletter and thought I'd share it with you all.

I think they look really nice, especially for plastics.
I hope this was of interest to some of you anyway.

I was wondering if the painted example are "3 ups" rather than actual 28mm figures… their bases look thick in comparison to the base of the figures illustrated in the upper left corner of the box's art. Anyhow, I’m looking forward their release.
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

the pics of the painted miniatures are "3 up's" and the advert on the back of the latest Wargames Illustrated gives a little more information. Looking foreward to seeing these :)

I was slightly disappointed by Wargames Factory's plastic Vikings and Saxons. I have plenty of metal Vikings, but need a lot of Saxons to fight them and the only realistic option is plastic. They also have Saxons planned for the near future.

I really don't need any more figures (my wife has told me!) but I certainly want to get my hands on a box.
I want to see the sprues to see how I can do a bit of converting and swapping heads, etc.

I don't know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.
