Nice pairing. Tough choice. I ultimately had to vote for the Gothic Horrors. I like the shading on the vamp and gargoyle. Good luck to you both!

Indeed a very evenly matched pairing. Aside from the swooping gargoyle (cool !  :-* ) the league models are more "my thing" ...

Nice job both of you !

Great pairing - I haven't been able to decide on this one, both entries are great.  To help my decision, could folks point out any models that are conversions?

In the League, it seems that the toughest matches happen when two very exciting, but very different, themes collide.  How can I possibly pit my love of Universal horror films against my love for modern pulp adventure?

Dorian and Nemo are minor converions from the Eccentrics from Artizan (basically, removing a sickle and adding a painting, and adding a sword), Skinner is a greenstuff scratchbuilded raincoat and crafted out shoeprints...

Nothing fancy in other words

Such a clever idea, and well-executed as well!

This is surely a tough one.

The paintjob on the horrors is very nice, but the League is more my cup of tea, and they are well painted too.

Hasn't the league been posted on LAF before? I swear I recognise them.

Yes they have been, as I started posting this answer it appeared below in "Related topics"

Still a very nice entry, I have the "Dorian" model myself and didn't even recognise it until Tomsche said wich model it was converted from.

Great job!

Yeap, had due to workrelated time constraints give up on my normal entry for this round and send in the `reserve`, thus by forfeiting the new entry bonus points and all

Is it just me or can anyone else only see the League, the Horrors are not there at all.
