Well yeah that's very true.

I'm still new to this whole "modifying the rules" thing...old (Evil Empire enforced) habits die hard it seems.

I don't know how the weapon stats in AT work, but couldn't be too hard to make some slight differences between very similar weapons just to add some more character. Or add those differences through character skills.

Fun thing about Bounty is it has a quite a few different weapon types. The weapons list has 28 different weapons including hard slugthrowers.

We have rules for 14 different alien races that can be added to any of the troop types.

To add even further varity there is a gear list of 32 different items ranging from Cybernetic parts to Personal Teleporters.

The Campaign system let's you replace crew members that have been killed, buy weapons, gear and gain experience so you can increase your stats.

There are rules for playing games planetside in different enviroments as well as have battles in space aboard starships.

Great short-summary. Definitly worth the wait  :)

A shame that the previews are to small to be read easily.

I'm still tweaking the site format. Sorry about that. It's hard to judge what screen res the majority is using too. It's not like the old days where everyone stuck with 800x600 and 1024 x 768. It's hard to design a page for a single format today, when so many are using ultra-hi-res modes and the old standards a like.

What screen res is your desktop?

That was actually a short Preview of just the Crew building part of the game. My full blown Review will be in the coming weeks.

Hmm this does sound very interesting.

As I'm currently on the look out for good skirmish systems that can be used to create stuff from various genres it seems to tick a lot of the boxes I want.

A huge amount of creative choice in gang creation is a must so it's got that covered, if it has built in campaign/experience systems I'll be very tempted indeed.

Edit: Just went to the "interview" thread that came up in the related topics...
"The AE-Bounty rulebook will contain rules for campaigns, which includes tracking casualties, experience points and equipment."

 :D
The game does have a campaign system as well, I just didn't get that far into the rulebook to cover it yet.  But it is an option in AE Bounty.

No problem, I'll survive the waiting time till the book arrives, thanks for the effort.

One thing I'm really ooking forward are the "battles in space aboard starships". Couldn't you give us a glimps how they work ? Talking about patience ;)
