I find that I can paint the perry plastic French faster than I can the perry metal French.
It sounds a bit daft but the paint seems to flow onto the figure much quicker.
I mix metal and plastic on the same base so this seems to speed up unit completion

So unfair still need to paint 2 boxes of french and a box of cavalry  ???
lucky bloomin you, I still need to paint 150 french infantry  :P

I find the same thing on plastic anything vs metal counterparts.

I am looking forwards to these, especially if the price and numbers in box are the usual standard

I never got around to buying any VIctrix Plastic Highlanders to turn into Ratmen... Nor French Infantry into High Elves... lol

If you don't know, 'Flintloque' is a set of fantasy 'Napoleonique' rules, which are perfect for such odd creations! :)
