Absolute masterworks! Your slaves are especially nice! Really beautiful and I am tempted to try it.

I use Vallejo Model Color, Flat Earth for the base, then Desert Yellow, and Dark Sand for the lights.
I would say is a quite common choice.

Looks great... these are some of my favorite mummies I've seen... now you've inspired me! I have some 10mm skeletons sitting around somewhere...

Well, I've never tried to paint a mummy, so that colour recipe is news to me.  :) Thank you for letting me know. The bandages really bring your miniatures to life.

oh! I was only trying to say the paints are quite common (and cheap), not special wash or inks from rare brands etc.
My only advice would be try to avoid drybrush as much as you can. I think is the big temptation when painting mummies, is fast and effective but I don't like the final look, if abused the mummy looks more like covered in plaster than wrapped in bandages.
I paste here a helpful pict i used as reference for the bandages (no idea about the source of the image)
