Sorry, just wanted to apologise for this statement, I must have been tired as I didn't see the subtle washes around the windows etc.

No problem at all, having a second look I think they are a bit too subtle but when I'm making things I'm probably looking too close and not thinking 'table top' 

I like the battle damage idea, I was going wait until it saw action but this might be a while for this to happen (no smarty arse comments Millymallymullet  )

@ Gamer mac - It's all for me, muwahahaha (unless someone wants to buy it of course  ). The paints I use are a mix of Foundry, Miniature paints and cheapo art shop nasties (which aren't too bad actually) the brown is a mix of my own that is tending towards grey/green rather than pure brown, although being slightly colour blind the bloody thing might be red for all I know

That is just beautiful and conceivably useful in other genres as well.  I would love a brief tutorial on how you did the construction of the blockhouse.
