OK, Folks, if I can be of any help, just ask ...  :D

I did the wheels for Metal Magic a loooong time ago, they are no longer available.

The cart is scratchbuild and the roof is just a copper wire frame covered with printed paper, fixed with some thinned white glue. Really easy.
 :)

I found dimensions which measure (in real life) 11 feet long, 8 feet tall and 7 feet wide for the cabin part.  I imagine with the wheels it would be taller.  How would that convert to 28mm dimensions?

Assuming 1/56th scale or thereabouts, about 2 1/3 inches long, 1 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide.

((<distance in feet> x <12 to get us inches>) divided by <56 to get us scale sizes in (real) inches>)

 :? That's wee.  Cheers, Wirelizard.

If I were building my own I think I'd want it a bit bigger.  What do you think of 3 inches by 2 inches by 2 inches?  Is that too big, Geckilian?

Generally I would steer towards smaller vehicles, largely because all game table space is precious.

However, if you really want large, a fantasy setting can explain away the overly large vehicle.

After posting the above, I threw together a mock-up and that was too big, clearly too big.

Considering it'll be used as essentially a mobile house, 3" by 2" by 2" looks quite alright when I mocked it up. I think I'll put it together bearing that in mind, cheers.

My thought was that as the traveling folk use the caravans to carry possessions from place to place but do cooking and living in the out-of-doors when they've stopped, I didn't think it would need to be as large as a modern caravan.

Whatever size it ends up, we expect to see your photos soon.

Don't Westwind make a 28mm Gypsy Caravan in white metal?

You are the third or fourth person pointing this out and Geckilian already stated he was aware of it in his first post.  lol
