I find Kev's incredible painting ability very intimidating. How shall mine even begin to compare?

Gorgeous.
Kevin remains the master par excellence. Apart from Andrew Taylor, I don't think anyone else comes near him when it comes to painting wargames figures.

That said - wonderful new eye candy apart - every article essentially describes exactly the same process and technique.
I guess each new piece tells you which colours to use for specific figures - but I do wonder what value there is in describing the same technique in detail, over and over again, especially when most people who aspire to paint using 'the three colour method' almost certainly already own Kev's books... 

Still - very beautiful work. I could look at the pictures all day
