Have you heard of this comic?

It used to run in Heavy Metal magazine and is a really well drawn serial about a mysterious place in Texas inflicted with all kinds of gothic Horrors which are checked by the powers of the Woman in White, Doc and others. It is truly great stuff. It definitley tilts towards Lovecraft but with a bit more humor added. I could just as well posted it on the CoC topic. It was re-released last year but can be found here to:

The narrator, the dead horse lifter Ol' Claim Jumper, is a particular favorite of mine.

I used to read it - thought it was the best illustrated strip I ever saw. I bought volume 1 many years ago in the hopes that it would in some small way contribute to the popularity enough to continue with the strip - never ealised he got up to volume 4! (or even past volume one!) I'll be ordering the collection right away!

Hammershield,

I've never seen that before. It looks to be right up my street. I think I'll put an order in ASAP!

Thanks for the heads-up :)

Cheers,
Ian
