Like all Artizan mini, they look pretty cool. I am waiting for the release of their gattling gun and then the card will be getting a work out...when the wife isn't looking of course.

Yes, I wish all companies would make mounted & dismounted versions of the same figure. As someone with no modelling talent it is very frustrating when trying to depict mounted figures.

Somehow it does't quite capture the spirit of the Old West to have cattle rustlers jogging  :(

Got the Osprey book on the Texas Rangers this weekend ..some great
pictures for painting guides in it and loads of information ,,
Recomend it to any who want to have a go at painting / gaming with them.

Yes, it's one of Osprey's better books & a "must have". I also like "Lone Star Justice" - a great read & full of scenario inspiration. After reading of their exploits, I think that if I'd been a Texan outlaw I'd have left Texas & gone to Montana  :lol:

Mike has said on the yahoo! group that he will be doing mounted versions for these figures.

Can't have Texas rangers with no horses!  :wink:
